• Duly signed visa application form
• Passport with a minimum validity of 1 year starting from the arrival date in Cyprus
• 4 passport-size photographs, and a letter of acceptance from an educational institution in Cyprus
• Previous academic qualifications with copies translated into English
• Proof of sufficient funds to study in Cyprus. A certificate of sponsorship is also acceptable
• Police clearance certificate issued within the last 6 months
• A bank guarantee issued by the sponsor’s bank within the last 6 months
• Health insurance for travelling abroad
• Any other document required by the educational institution

After entering Cyprus, the applicant must also submit the following documents

• Health insurance from Cyprus for the course duration
• Medical tests for hepatitis B and C, chest X-rays, HIV, and Syphilis. All these tests are conducted to ensure that you are not suffering from TB.

Application Process for Cyprus Student Visa

The first step to getting a student visa for Cyprus is to apply to an educational institution in Cyprus. The university will make arrangements for you to apply for the visa. There are 2 ways a Cyprus student visa can be obtained. Either apply yourself through the Cyprus diplomatic mission in your country (Embassy/Consulate) or decide to send documents to the university and the university will apply for the visa on our behalf.

• A passport copy and a copy of the letter of resignation from the college or university
• Academic transcripts for all the semesters
• Accommodation proof
• Proof of sufficient funds and proof of health insurance
